DELTA selects Amino for end-to-end multiscreen cable to IP service transformation

Amino Technologies plc (LSE AIM: AMO), the Cambridge-based provider of digital entertainment solutions for IPTV, Internet TV and in-home multimedia distribution, today announces that DELTA, the Netherlands-based provider of internet, TV, telephony and energy, is deploying Amino's MOVE TV delivery platform to provide a full end-to-end solution to deliver multiscreen entertainment services.

Amino has worked closely with DELTA to transition its existing cable TV subscriber base to an all IP-based service model - and enable a range of advanced service features and user experience improvements alongside an extended range of live, on-demand and OTT content.

DELTA already use Amino MOVE to provide a "TV everywhere" solution for mobile and tablet viewing. Now it's extending the platform's capabilities to manage its entire entertainment service delivery to customers outside and to the home TV via Amino's 6 series 4K/UHD compatible IPTV device.

In the coming period, Amino will implement new developments to enable DELTA to offer a richer and much wider range of entertainment services. Packages now include over 140 live TV channels, many of which have 'replay TV', allowing users to re-start live programmes and a full seven day 'catch up' TV service. Up to 250 hours of storage is also provided, ensuring customers can record their favourite content.

Amino MOVE is a complete end-to-end TV delivery platform that enables operators and content owners to offer a multi-screen TV service to screens inside and outside the home. The platform delivers a full range of services include live television, personal video recording, catch-up, video-on-demand, OTT applications and advanced recommendations.

Amino confirms that this contract will not have a significant incremental impact on the Company's revenues in the current financial year.
