The Company announces that it has published its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2009 ('Annual Report'). Copies of the Annual Report are now available to download from the Company's website, www.sterlingenergyplc.com 

The Annual Report will be posted to shareholders on or about 9th April 2010. The Annual Report contains the notice for the Company's Annual General Meeting, which is due to be held at 11 a.m. on 7 May 2010.
