ADVFN.COM PLC ('ADVFN' or the 'Company') today announces that both Michael
Boydell, Managing Director and Martin Talks, Commercial Director have stepped
down from the Board of Directors.

Both were part of the founding management team that has built ADVFN into the
No1 destination in the UK for the private investor. Having met this goal and
having brought the Company to the brink of operational profitability, Michael
Boydell and Martin Talks have both decided that they want to move on to fresh
business ventures.

Michael Hodges, Chairman, of ADVFN, stated: 'On behalf of ADVFN, I would like
to take this opportunity to thank them for their contribution to the
development of the business and wish them well for the future.'

The Board of Directors has appointed Clement Chambers as Managing Director of
the Company who will, with the assistance of Jonathan Mullins, Technical
Director, take day-to-day responsibility for continuing the progress of ADVFN.
  Jonathan Mullins has been responsible for the entire technical department of
ADVFN and has overseen the growth of the web site since its early days, from a
small bulletin board to one of the busiest websites in the UK.  Clement
Chambers is a founding director of both ADVFN and On-line plc, ADVFN's parent
company, and has been instrumental in the growth and development of both
companies, demonstrating his commitment to ADVFN through the significant cash
injection announced today.

In order to more fully devote their energies to the future progress of ADVFN,
both Clement Chambers and Jonathan Mullins have stepped down from their
executive directorships of On-line plc but remain as non-executive directors
of On-line plc.
