ADVFN gives private investors trading edge with

combined Level 2 order book

- provides fully integrated view of the market -

ADVFN (www.advfn.com) has launched its 'professional' Level 2 Montage product.

As alternative trading venues such as Turquoise and Chi-X become an increasingly large part of the UK trading landscape, Europe's leading financial market website has unveiled a system which combines four Level 2 order books trading simultaneously.

A lot of trading action no longer takes place on the London Stock Exchange SETS system and therefore does not show up on the normal Level 2. To keep investors one step ahead in this new trading environment, ADVFN has rebuilt its Level 2 to include the order books of Chi-X, Turquoise and Plus as well as the London Stock Exchange.

This means that investors will now be able to view all the orders from the separate venues together on one unified screen and see the real combined total volume on Bid and Offer, at all the different prices as the trades hit the combined book.

ADVFN's Level 2 Montage for private investors is a more powerful product than many professional Level 2s, which can cost ten to thirty times more.

Level 2 Montage also boasts tools like Flow and Tickscope, which help users gauge order pressure and precise price action across the fragmented market; providing an invaluable edge for investors and traders.

Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN, said: "As trading liquidity has shifted it has become increasingly important to see the entire fragmented picture. Anyone involved in the markets can't afford to trade when only part of the trading action is visible. ADVFN's Level 2 Montage puts the new broken Level 2 landscape back together again. It is the future of trading and it's on ADVFN now."
