ADVFN.COM PLC (the 'Company')

Placing

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 2,154,166 new
ordinary shares of 1p each, fully paid in the Company, to be admitted to trading
on AIM following a placing for cash of £32,312.  The new ordinary shares will
rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary share capital
of the Company.

Admission to trading on AIM is expected to become effective from Monday 25 March
2002.
