Statement Regarding Share Price Increase

ADVANCED MEDICAL SOLUTIONS PLC ('the Company')



The Company has noted the increase in its share price
on 12 November 1999. The Company is not aware of any
reason for this increase other than it has received
an approach from a third party proposing an all paper
offer. The proposal is subject to a number of pre-
conditions and, while the Board's response to this
approach has been to seek considerable further
information on the company in question and its
proposals for the businesses going forward, the
indicated terms are such that the Board do not
believe it likely that they would be able to
recommend it. The Board is therefore firmly of the
view that it is in the best interests of shareholders
to complete the plans for a further equity fund-
raising referred to in the interim results statement
published on 27 October 1999.
