The Company received notification that, following completion of the Placing and
Open Offer on 1 May 2002, that Electra Quoted Management Limited holds 7,418,066
ordinary shares of 5p each representing 5.22 per cent of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital.

This shareholding is registered in the names of Clydesdale Bank (Custodian
Nominees) Limited a/c ESP and Clydesdale Bank (Custodian Nominees) Limited as 
a/c VCT.
