The Company received notification today that, following the purchase of 530,256
ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company ('Ordinary Shares') on
25 April 2002, Finsbury Life Sciences Investment Trust PLC holds 4,515,354
Ordinary Shares representing approximately 3.18 per cent. of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.
