ADVANCED MEDICAL SOLUTIONS GROUP PLC (the 'Company')

The Company received notification on 29 June 2001 that, following the purchase
of 250,000 shares, AMVESCAP PLC and subsidiary companies on behalf of
discretionary clients have an interest in 9,522,125 ordinary shares of 10p
each in the Company 'Ordinary Shares' representing 10.2 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.  The Ordinary Shares are registered in the
name of Chase Nominees Limited.

This holding includes the following notifiable holdings:-

(i)                       INVESCO English and International Trust plc holds
5,092,401 Ordinary Shares representing 5.44 per cent. of the Company's issued
share capital; and

(ii)                     INVESCO Perpetual UK Small Companies Growth Fund
holds 3,290,655 Ordinary Shares representing 3.517 per cent. of the Company's
issued share capital.
