Director Shareholding Announcement

The Company has today been informed that Geoffrey Vernon, Chairman of AMS, has sold 49,000 ordinary shares at 42 pence per share held in his own name from his general holding to his Self Invested Private Pension Plan ("SIPP"). Mr Vernon's SIPP bought 49,000 ordinary shares at 42.5 pence per share.

Following these transactions, Mr. Vernon (and his connected parties) remain the beneficial owners of 1,026,000 ordinary shares, which represents 0.67% of the existing issued ordinary share capital.
