The Company today received notification in accordance with Sections 198 to 203
of the Companies Act 1985 that as at 21st September 2005 The Goldman Sachs Group
Inc., (GS Inc) was interested by attribution only in 10,015,179 0.1p Ordinary
Shares in the Company, representing 3.85% of the fully paid issued share
capital. This represents a decrease of 2,778,274 shares since the last
notification filed on 11th May 2005.

The notifiable interest in 10,015,179 ordinary shares of the Company is held
