2006 Annual General Meeting

Financial intermediary, Admiral Group plc announces that at its Annual General
Meeting held at 2pm today, Thursday 18 May 2006, all of the resolutions tabled
were duly passed.

A copy of the resolutions approved at the Company's AGM has been submitted to
the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
