Buckland Investments plc has today received notification of the following
interests in its ordinary shares:



Hoodless Brennan & Partners plc, having acquired 20,000,000 new ordinary shares
in the placing announced on 1 March 2002 (representing 17.58 per cent. of the
issued ordinary share capital of the Company), now no longer has a notifiable
interest.



Everett Financial Management Limited, having acquired 16,666,666 new ordinary
shares in the placing announced on 1 March 2002 (representing 14.65 per cent. of
the issued ordinary share capital of the Company), sold on 8 March 2002
2,587,666 new ordinary shares and therefore is interested in 14,079,000 new
ordinary shares (representing 12.37 per cent. of the issued ordinary share
capital of the Company).
