Trading update

Lo-Q PLC 8 May 2002 Lo-Q plc ('Lo-Q' or 'the Company') Trading Update Following the successful admission to AIM, Lo-Q is pleased to announce further progress. The season at Six Flags Over Georgia started on 23 March 2002. From the first day there were 800 Q-bots operational and a new charging structure has been implemented, increasing the price to US$10 per person from $5 per person. Demand throughout the first five weeks of the season has been high with no resistance to the increase in the pricing structure. In spite of poor weather, this period has included our two record days, where the revenue approached US$20,000 each day. Elsewhere within the Six Flags group, the Lo-Q system installation is nearing completion in four new parks. The Company is delighted that it has managed to keep within its extremely tight forecast installation period and it is believed that Park guests will be able to rent Q Bots in all these parks from mid June. The Company anticipates that the introduction of the system in these parks will prove equally successful as the system currently in place at Six Flags Over Georgia. Design and implementation has commenced in a further four parks and the Company anticipates that it will meet its contracted timescales for systems to be installed during the summer.
