On 6 August 2001, Edinburgh Small Companies Trust plc bought back 2.2m
ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 116p per share. Following the
buy back, there are 67,401,685 ordinary shares in issue. The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
