API GROUP PLC ('the Company')
The Company received notification from Robert Fleming Holdings Limited on 22
May 2000 on behalf of THE FLEMING MERCANTILE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC that it has
a beneficial interest in 1,120,000 shares, representing 3.3 per cent of the
Company's total issued ordinary share capital.
