The Board of API Group (the 'Company') received notification today that Hermes
Administration Services Ltd has holdings as follows:



The Trustees of the BT Pension Scheme, Hermes Investment Management Limited and
Hermes Pensions Management Limited together hold 5,489,211 Ordinary Shares of
25p each, representing 16.22% of the issued share capital of the Company.



Of these 5,489,211 Ordinary Shares, Royal Mail Pensions Trustees Limited and
Possfund Custodian Trustee Limited together hold 2,220,721 ordinary shares,
representing 6.56% of the issued share capital of the Company, through Possfund
Nominees Limited.



Britel Fund Trustees Limited and The Trustees of the BT Pension Scheme together
hold the remaining 3,268,490 Ordinary Shares, representing 9.66% of the issued
share capital of the Company, through Britel Fund Nominees Limited.
