API Group plc (the 'Company')

API Group plc announces that it has today granted share options to Derek
Ashley, Group Chief Executive, over 571,428 of the Company's ordinary shares
at an exercise price of 126p per share, such options to be exercisable (in
normal circumstances) between 15 January 2004 and 4 June 2011.
