AGM Statement
API Group plc (AIM:API), the leading manufacturer of specialist foils and packaging materials, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today at 2.00 p.m. at the offices of Eversheds LLP, One Wood Street, London EC2V 7WS.
At the Annual General Meeting, Richard Wright, Chairman of API Group plc, will provide the following trading update:
"At the time of our full year results announcement on 5th June 2013, the Board's expectation was for further progress in operating results this year with a weighting towards the second half as volumes build on the new Laminates supply contract and the recovery in Holographics gains strength. The Group has made a relatively slow start to the new financial year, especially compared to last year's strong first half performance. While the weaker start has increased reliance on sales developments which have yet to come fully on stream, the Board's expectations for the year as a whole remain unchanged."
