ABERDEEN NEW DAWN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK

On 19 March 2008, Aberdeen New Dawn Investment Trust PLC purchased in the
market, 10,000 ordinary shares at 484.61 pence per share. These shares will be
held in treasury. Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will
comprise:

24,909,402 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)
468,731 Ordinary shares held in treasury
25,387,133 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)
