At the Annual General Meeting of Aberdeen New Dawn Investment Trust PLC held
today, 29 August 2006, all resolutions in the Notice of Meeting were passed.

As indicated in the Annual Report and Accounts for 2006, following the
conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, Mr Jimmy West has retired as a
Director of the Company; Mr Richard Clough has stood down as Chairman and is now
Senior Independent Director; Mr Alan Henderson has been appointed Chairman; and,
Mr Richard Hills has been appointed interim Chairman of the Audit Committee.
