Aberdeen New Dawn Investment Trust PLC

Result of Annual General Meeting

The Company announces that at the Annual General Meeting, held at One Bow
Churchyard, London, EC4M 9HH, at 12.30pm on 22 August 2003, all resolutions, as
set out in the Notice of the Meeting, were unanimously passed.

As indicated in the Annual Report and Accounts, with effect from the end of the
AGM, Mr Scott Brown retired as a Director of the Company.
