The Company has today (4 September 2001) been advised that following the
recent acquisition of Ivory & Sime Asset Management Limited by Aberdeen Asset
Management PLC, clients of Aberdeen Asset Management PLC are now interested in
3,520,249 Ordinary 25p shares, representing 15.13% of the issued share capital
of Aberdeen New Dawn Investment Trust PLC.
