Final Dividend

The Board of Aberdeen New Dawn Investment Trust PLC has today (12 July 2001)
declared a final dividend in respect of the year ending 31 May 2001 of 2.65p
(net) per Ordinary Share (2000 final - 1.65p).  The final dividend will have a
record date of 20 July 2001 and will be paid on 24 August 2001 to shareholders
on the register at the record date.
