Aberdeen Asset Management PLC announces in conformity with the Transparency
Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the
following:


Aberdeen All Asia Investment Trust PLC consists of 16,686,767 ordinary 10p
shares with voting rights.  Aberdeen All Asia holds nil ordinary shares in
Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Aberdeen All Asia is 16,686,767.

The above figure (16,686,767) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Aberdeen All Asia under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
