On 28 March 2012 Aberdeen All Asia Investment Trust PLC purchased 25,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 218.0 pence per share.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

14,591,572 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

840,795 Ordinary shares held in treasury

15,432,367 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)
