Announcement of Dividend - Change of Payment Date

The Board of ACM European Enhanced Income Fund Plc (the 'Fund') announces that
the interim dividend for the three months to 31 March 2004 will be 1.30p per
share, to be paid on 30 April 2004 to shareholders on the register on 23 April
2004.

Ex dividend dealings are expected to commence on 21 April 2004.

Please note that dividends will now be paid on April 30 2004 and not on April 29
2004, as previously declared per the announcement on April 15 2004.  All other
details remain the same.
