REPURCHASE OF WARRANTS
On 26 June 2001 British Assets Trust plc bought 500,000 of its own warrants
for cancellation at a price of 50p each. There are 4,583,062 warrants in
issue following this repurchase.
Since their issue in December 1994, the Company has repurchased 94.0% of its
warrants for cancellation.
