Aberdeen completes acquisition of Advance Emerging Capital

Further to the announcement made on 15 September 2015, the Board of Advance Developing Markets Fund Limited ("ADMF") announces that following receipt of Change in Control approval from the Financial Conduct Authority, Aberdeen Asset Management PLC has today completed the acquisition of Advance Emerging Capital Limited, the investment manager of ADMF. 

Subsequent to this completion, Advance Emerging Capital Limited has today been renamed Aberdeen Emerging Capital Limited and becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Aberdeen Asset Management PLC.
