ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON 3 MARCH 2010


The  Board of Aberforth Smaller Companies Trust plc ("ASCoT") hereby report that  all
the  resolutions  proposed at the Annual General Meeting held on 3 March 2010 were
passed  by  Shareholders on a show of hands. A total of 33,933,877 proxy votes  were
received, representing 35.0% of the 96,867,000 Ordinary Shares in issue.
