Appointment of non-executive Director



3i Infrastructure Limited ('the Company') announces that, as referred to in the
Company's Prospectus dated 20 February 2007, Mr Paul Waller has been appointed
a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 28 March 2007.



Mr Waller (aged 52) is the Managing Partner, Funds of the 3i group and is a
member of that group's Management Committee and Investment Committee.  He is
also a past Chairman of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital
Association.



There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of
the FSA's Listing Rules.
