Disclosure requirement re: UKLA Listing Rule 15.6.8R(1)

Pursuant to Listing Rule 15.6.8R(1), 3i Group plc announces that, as at the last
business day of November 2007, it had no investments in listed closed-ended
investment funds which themselves do not have stated investment policies to
invest no more than 15% of their total assets in other listed closed-ended
investment funds.
