On 8 February 2013 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 8 February 2013 Sir Adrian Montague, the Chairman of the Board (and a Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities), acquired 10,752 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of 279.0p per Share.  

The place of this transaction was the London Stock Exchange.
