Pursuant to the rules of The 3i Group Special Share Award Plan, on 29 March 2012 the following individuals, being persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs") of 3i Group plc (the "Company"), were granted awards over ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each ("Shares") in the Company as detailed against their names below:
