The meeting of the Board of 3i Group plc at which the interim results for the
six months ended 30 September 2000 are due to be approved will be convened for
the afternoon of Wednesday 22 November 2000. Details of the results will be
released by notification to the London Stock Exchange before 7:30 am on THURSDAY
23 NOVEMBER 2000.
