3i Group plc announces that application has been made to the London Stock
Exchange and the UK Listing Authority for admission to trading and admission to
the Official List of a blocklisting of 200,000 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p
each.



These shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in
issue, are for allotment in connection with the conversion of bonds.
