7 December 2010 Wood Group - CCC JV wins US$800m contract with PDO Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has awarded a seven-year engineering and maintenance services contract (EMC) to Wood Group - CCC, a joint venture set up to provide operations and maintenance services for the oil & gas and petrochemical industries in Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Yemen. The contract, which has a three year extension option, will include integrated engineering, construction, maintenance and support services for existing PDO facilities onshore in Southern Oman. Wood Group's market leading engineering, operations and maintenance expertise, together with CCC's market leading engineering and construction capabilities and substantial regional resource base in Oman and the Middle East, will bring a highly complementary service to PDO.
