John Wood Group PLC (the "Group") - Board changes

Resignation of Director

Roberto Monti, a non-executive director, will retire from the Board on 31
December 2009. Roberto has been on the Board since 2001 and has served on the
Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Commenting on the change, the Chairman, Sir Ian Wood said, "The Board is very
grateful to Roberto for his valuable contributions over the last eight years
and he leaves with the Board's very best wishes for the future."

Roberto's successor will be announced early next year.
