                  STEVE MOGFORD - CHANGE IN RESPONSIBILITIES                   

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, United Utilities Group PLC announces
that Steve Mogford, CEO, has stepped down from the Nomination Committee.  The
Nomination Committee's membership now consists of the non-executive Chairman
and five independent non-executive directors.
