Purchase of shares for cancellation

Unicorn AIM VCT plc announces that on 22 May 2006 it purchased 57,062 Ordinary
Fund Shares at a price of 90.0 pence per share and 77,790 Series 2 Ordinary
Shares at a price of 110.0 pence per share for cancellation.

Following these purchases there are now 32,237,172 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence
and 15,665,524 Series 2 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence in issue.
