Unicorn AIM VCT plc ("the Company") Appointment of Director Unicorn AIM VCT plc is pleased to announce that it has appointed James Grossman to be a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 15 January 2009. Mr Grossman is an international business lawyer and arbitrator with over 35 years experience in, amongst other things, M&A and venture capital transactions as well as serving on boards of directors of public companies both in the UK and the United States. In addition, in the public sector, Mr Grossman served as the Chairman of the United States Foreign Claims Settlement Commission and as a special representative in Central Europe for the United Nations Development Program. Mr Grossman is a member of the arbitration panels of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, the International Chamber of Commerce and the domain name dispute panel of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva. He is non-executive chairman of Canoel International Energy Limited, an oil exploration company based in Canada, whose shares are traded on TSX Venture Exchange (Toronto). Mr Grossman is also a director of Thalassa Energy Limited, an oil related technology company, whose shares are traded on AIM (London). Until 2006, Mr Grossman was a director of Champion Communication Services Inc., whose shares were traded on the TSX Venture Exchange, until the sale of its operations, and World Gaming plc, whose shares were traded on the AIM and on the NASDAQ until the sale of its assets in 2006. World Gaming plc was put in administration shortly after Mr Grossman resigned. The Board has pleasure in welcoming Mr Grossman as a director and looks forward to working with him.
