Issue of Equity

Temple Bar Investment Trust Plc announces that application has been made to the
London Stock Exchange plc and UK Listing Authority for the admission to the
official list of 300,000 ordinary shares of 25p each. These shares, which rank
pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of 25p in issue, have been
allotted following a placement at a price of £8.88 per share.

Following this allotment the total number of ordinary shares in issue will be
60,251,367.
