Change of Manager and Company Secretary

The board of Temple Bar Investment Trust Plc (the "Company") announces that,
with immediate effect, Investec Asset Management Limited has been appointed as
its manager in place of Investec Investment Management Limited. In addition,
Investec Asset Management Limited replaces Investec Investment Management
Limited as the company secretary of the Company.

In all other respects, the terms of the investment management agreement remain
unchanged.
