Strategic Equity Capital plc ("the Company") was informed on 15 November 2013
that Jonathan Morgan, Chairman of SVG Investment Managers, the Investment
Manager of the Company, and persons connected to Mr Morgan had on 14 November
purchased an aggregate of 250,000 Ordinary 10 pence shares of the Company as
follows:

150,000 shares in a CMI bond in Mr Morgan's name at a price of 140.50 pence per
share

100,000 shares in the name of Mrs A C L Morgan at a price of 140.37 pence per
share

Following these transactions, Mr Morgan and connected persons are interested in
a total of 2,000,000 Ordinary 10 pence Shares (representing 3.36% of the issued
share capital), as follows:

Jonathan Morgan - 1,900,000 shares

Mrs A C L Morgan - 100,000 shares
