Software Radio Technology plc (the "Company") has today been notified that
Vidacos Nominees Ltd a/c 2303 ("Vidacos") has increased its interest in the
Company following a sale of 250,000 shares at 53.5p and a purchase of 500,000
shares at 53p, both of which took place on 13 November 2006. Following these
transactions, Vidacos is the registered holder of 3,120,934 ordinary shares of
0.1p each, representing 4.00 per cent of the issued share capital of the
Company. The beneficial owner of the shareholding is AlphaGen Volantis Fund -
Prime Brokerage and the fund manager is Gartmore Investment Limited
("Gartmore").

On 13 November 2006, the Company issued an announcement regarding the
shareholdings in the Company of Gartmore and its associated companies.
