This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4(1)(a).

 

On 25 October 2011, awards granted on 25 February 2008 under the Spectris
Performance Share Plan to a director and person discharging managerial
responsibilities were exercised.  The Company was informed by the individual
below of the transaction on 25 October 2011. The awards were granted in the
form of nominal cost options with an exercise price of 5 pence per share.  The
awards became exercisable on 25 February 2011 for a period of 7 years.
