Directors' shareholdings

The Board of Solid State Supplies plc received notification yesterday that
Gordon Comben, Executive Director, and William Marsh, Executive Director, had
on 22nd September 2003 each sold 15,000 shares at 60 pence per share.

Following these transactions, Mr Comben's shareholding is now 2,727,606 shares
being approximately 43.8% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital and Mr
Marsh's shareholding is now 1,700,500 shares, being approximately 27.3% of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.
