Board Changes

                          St Ives plc - Board changes                          

The board of St Ives plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike
Butterworth as a non-executive director of the Company and a member of the
Audit and Remuneration Committees with effect from 1st August 2010.

Mike Butterworth is Group Finance Director of Cookson Group plc, a post he has
held for the past five years, prior to which he was Group Finance Director of
Incepta Group plc after spending five years as Group Financial Controller at
BBA Group plc.

David Best will be stepping down from the board at the AGM to be held on 30th
November 2010. We would like to take this opportunity to thank David for his
contribution during his time on the board.
