Appointment of Non-executive Director

27 March 2012 CAPITAL & COUNTIES PROPERTIES PLC ("Capco" or the "Company") APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Board of Capital & Counties Properties PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Demetra Pinsent as a Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 May 2012. Demetra will also be appointed to the Nomination and Corporate Responsibility Committees with effect from the same date. A former partner of McKinsey & Co and leader of McKinsey's European Apparel, Fashion and Luxury Goods Practice for the past five years, Demetra has counselled leading high street, aspirational and luxury retailers and brands. Her work has covered a wide range of strategic, operational and organisational issues, including helping retailers optimise their property portfolios. In addition to her focus on retail, she has also advised on a number of bids for international sporting events, focusing on their legacy and sponsorship strategies, and also on the regeneration of communities through investment in public places. Outside of McKinsey, Demetra has acted as an adviser to emerging British luxury businesses.
