In accordance with Section 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985, the Company
has today been notified of the following Notifiable Interest in the ordinary
shares of Serco Group plc, which was effected on 28 September 2006:

FMR Corp. and its direct and indirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International
Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries: 9.27%

The issued ordinary share capital of the Company as on 28 September 2006 was:
475,224,150.
